This week was working on setting everything up. I personally found it fairly straightforward to do everything, as long as I read the instructions properly. Trying to decide what to do for my free inquiry was difficult because there are so many things and topics I want to explore, but I eventually narrowed it down. I am excited to have the initial hump done so the future can be used for learning through inquiry!

Welcome to my free inquiry blog!
I have decided to expand my knowledge of the ukulele this term. I have had very limited experience playing in grade 5 and a little bit in university, but overall, my abilities are very basic. I chose Ukulele because it is a common instrument to be found in a class set in schools, and I want to encourage my students to explore different modalities to express their learning, and the Ukulele is an incredibly diverse instrument!
Through the semester I am going to explore chords, scales, picking and applying those skills to different songs, which I can then gather and put into a songbook I can use in the future. I want to include a chord chart that I create myself, and different worksheets that explain techniques and how to play.
I will be uploading my playing progress on this blog, either directly or through youtube!
